Zakho Falls into the Draw Trap Against Al-Karkh

Al-Karkh forced a draw with a score of (1-1) against the leader Zakho in the match that brought the two teams together in the 23rd round of the Iraqi Stars League.

Al-Karkh entered the match with a defensive organization, relying on counter-attacks, and succeeded in opening the scoring early through their player Jaafar Abis in the 15th minute, putting the Khabor team under pressure from the start.

Despite Zakho's control over the match and threatening Al-Karkh's goal on several occasions, they faced a well-organized defense from Al-Karkh.

In the second half, Zakho continued their intense pressure in search of an equalizer, which was finally achieved in the 82nd minute by the Yemeni player Nasser Mohammed, saving his team from defeat.

With this draw, Zakho's points increased to 46, temporarily placing them in first place, while Al-Karkh reached 29 points, sitting in fourteenth place.
