Hazem Emam: There is concern about the Al Ahly match
Saturday 08-03-2025
Hazem Emam, the former Zamalek star, revealed his concerns about the upcoming Al Ahly match.

Al Ahly will face Zamalek next Tuesday in the first round of the decisive phase of the Egyptian Premier League.

Yesterday, Zamalek won against Modern Sport with a score of 2-1 in the Round of 16 of the Egypt Cup.

Hazem Emam said via ON Sport channel: "There is concern about the Al Ahly match because Zamalek played for 120 minutes, and this worries the fans because Zamalek played for 120 minutes."

He added: "What worries me most about Zamalek is the lack of a good playmaker; Abdullah El-Said is playing defensively and Nasr Maher is returning from injury. The problem is the inability to create chances; Zamalek can pose a threat when they press."

He continued: "Zamalek has good wings, but they need to work well from the midfield. There is a problem in the midfield, but they certainly won't play like this against Al Ahly."

He concluded: "Zamalek did not play well today, and the loss is due to playing 120 minutes. However, I want to praise Mohamed Sobhi; he plays wonderfully with his feet. I hope he stays focused; he is the reason for Zamalek's victory, and Beisero should reward him. Sobhi is excellent in everything."
