Baghdad has witnessed heavy rains that have flooded the pitch, rendering it unplayable and affecting its readiness to host the match.
After inspecting the condition of the pitch and confirming the difficulty of holding a match under these circumstances, the decision to postpone was made to ensure the safety of the players and the audience and to guarantee a match under suitable conditions.
A new date for the match is expected to be determined later by the Competitions Committee.
