Barcelona Joins Race to Sign Rayo Vallecano Star

Barcelona is preparing to enter the race to sign Romanian star Andrei Ratiu, a player from Rayo Vallecano, to strengthen its squad in the upcoming period, amid intense interest from major European clubs.

According to the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Ratiu's name has been added to Barcelona's list of interests, as a meeting took place in the past two days between the club's sporting director, Portuguese Deco, and the player's representatives to discuss the possibility of his transfer to Barcelona.

Barcelona will not be alone in the race for the player's services, as several European clubs are competing for his signature. In Spain, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal are seeking to sign him, noting that the latter holds 50% of any future sale of the player.

In England, Ratiu is attracting interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton, while he is being followed by Roma and Atalanta in Italy, alongside Bayer Leverkusen's desire to sign him.
