Guardiola explains the reason for Halland's absence from Liverpool's confrontation
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola revealed the reason for Erling Halland's exclusion from Liverpool's confrontation, in the 26th round of the English Premier League.
"Halland improved, but he did not feel well ... and yesterday we decided to avoid any risk," the coach said in his speech.
He added: "During these nine years, we played many seasons without really important players, and we succeeded in staying."
He concluded: "We have suffered this season from many injuries, but we were not able to survive."
