Guardiola: What happened to everyone, and we have to attribute the credit to Real Madrid

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola appeared in press statements after the 3-2 loss against Real Madrid, in the elimination round of the Champions League.

The coach said: "Today it was difficult and at certain times the opportunities have had many games, in the end we lost, at this level it is very difficult. It is not the first time that we lose this way, this happened many times."

He added: "There are errors in concerned areas, which are difficult to manage, but yes, this happens many times, players make decisions in a moment, sometimes they succeed and sometimes do not succeed. We were applying for the result until the last minutes, but we could not keep them."

And he continued: "It is for everyone and not only the players. It is ridiculous to blame one player. The truth is that we are not stable enough at those moments, today what happened, and tomorrow we have to continue learning."

"We have made a lot of good things. The result is what they are. Of course we have made many good things, and things can improve and we must always give the competitor and the quality it enjoys," he added.

He concluded: "Akanji and Grillic went out with muscle injuries ... maybe they cannot play the return match."
