Press reports indicate that Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni has become a target for coach José Mourinho at Real Madrid during the upcoming transfer window, as the club seeks to strengthen its defensive line.

Bastoni, 27, is regarded as one of the top defenders in Europe, boasting an impressive record that includes 3 Italian league titles, several Italian Cup and Italian Super Cup titles, in addition to winning the UEFA Euro 2020 with the Italian national team. This strengthens his conviction of being ready to take a bigger step in his career, potentially moving from Milan to Madrid.

According to the report, the Inter Milan defender has become one of Mourinho's favorites, who is well-acquainted with the atmosphere and demands of the Italian league. He is considered one of the most prominent admirers of the player's abilities, especially after the season in which his team won the league title under the leadership of coach Cristian Chivu.
