Al -Ain Club announced today, Tuesday 4 February 2025, the dismissal of Portuguese coach Leonardo Jardim from his post, due to the decline in the performance and results of the team locally and continental.

Jardim's dismissal came after Al Ain lost 2/1, yesterday, Monday, in the seventh round of the AFC Champions League, which increased pressure on the administration to make this decision.

In an official statement, Al -Ain confirmed the annulment of the contract with Jardim and his technical staff, wishing them success in their next career.

The club also announced through its official account on the "X" platform that the Serbian Vladimir Evic was the technical manager of the team with a contract that extends for a season and a half, and the new coach is scheduled to arrive in the Emirates this evening, to start his duties officially in training the team tomorrow, Wednesday.

This change comes within the framework of Al Ain Club's endeavor to restore its balance and strongly compete in local and continental championships.
