Juventus coach Thiago Motta revealed the reason for the defeat 2/1 against Napoli in the last round of the Italian League, stressing that the fatigue caused by the crowded matches had a great impact on the team's performance in the second half.

In press statements after the match, Mouta said: "I am frustrated with this loss, we gave a good first run, we caused major problems for Naples, they are not leaders because of luck, they have a great coach and they had the opportunity to prepare for this meeting throughout the week."

He added: "But we did not enjoy this luxury, and this was evident in the second half, what we did well in the first half we could not repeat it in the second, so we could not win."

Motta pointed to the impact of the continuous matches, saying: "We came from a stressful match in the Champions League against Club Bruges, we were unable to press well in the second half because we lost a lot of balls, and this gave Napoli the opportunity to control the meeting."

He continued: "We have been well performed in many previous situations, but we were unable to do that day, Juventus has not won here since 2019, and this is the sixth consecutive defeat in the Napoli stadium, and this reflects the difficulty of playing in this place."

Motta expressed his satisfaction with the performance of Colo Mawani, who scored his first goal with Juventus in the first half, but raised questions about the involvement of Dosan Flisovic in the last nine minutes only.
