El-Shenawy: We seek to qualify as group leaders
Al-Ahly goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawy confirmed that his team seeks to top its group in the Champions League.
Tomorrow, Saturday, Al-Ahly will meet its counterpart, Abidjan Stadium, in the fifth round of the group stage in the African Champions League.
Mohamed El-Shenawy said during the press conference: “We in Al-Ahly are accustomed to respecting all competitors and teams that we face in various tournaments.”
He added: "The technical staff is seriously preparing for the match, and we want to provide the best possible during the match."
He continued: “We close the page for any match and focus on the next match. Our focus is on tomorrow’s match, and our goal is to qualify as leaders in the group.”
