Al-Ahly club expressed its desire to strengthen its ranks by including the Spanish Sevilla striker during the winter transfer period this January, in preparation for the expected participation in the 2025 Club World Cup.
Reports said An English journalist said that Al-Ahly of Egypt is one of the clubs interested in signing Nigerian Kelechi Iheanacho, the Spanish striker from Sevilla.
Reports indicated: The former Leicester City striker will be available in the winter Mercato, as Sevilla is moving to allow him to leave on loan, with the option to purchase in his contract.
Several clubs in England, Greece, Turkey and the American League have expressed their desire to sign Iheanacho, and also Al-Ahly of Egypt are among the potential destinations for the Nigerian player.
