CS Emelec is an Ecuadorian football club based in the city of Guayaquil. Founded in 1929, it is one of the most successful clubs in Ecuadorian football, having won multiple domestic titles and participated in international competitions. The team plays its home matches at Estadio George Capwell, one of Ecuador’s premier stadiums.
