Cobreloa is a Chilean football club based in the city of Copiapó. The team competes in the Chilean Second Division (Primera B) and hosts its matches at their local stadium. Founded in 1977, the club is known as "Zorros de los Desiertos" (Desert Foxes). It is regarded as one of the leading clubs in developing young players in Chile and has produced many talented players who excelled both domestically and internationally.
