About the Team

China national team. Known by the nickname 'The Red Dragon.' It plays its home matches at Workers' Stadium in Beijing. The team was founded in 1924 and is considered one of the oldest national teams in Asia. Although the team has not won major championships at the global level, it participated in the World Cup once in 2002. It is known for its rivalry with East Asian teams such as Japan and South Korea.
