About the Team
Kardemir Karabükspor was a Turkish sports club founded in 1969 in Karabük. The team played its home matches at the Dr. Necmettin Şeyhoğlu Stadium, which has a capacity of 11,378 spectators. The club competed in the Turkish Süper Lig for several seasons but faced financial difficulties that led to its decline through the lower divisions, ultimately resulting in its dissolution in 2023. In the same year, a new club named "Karabük İdman Yurdu" was established as a successor.
