FK Jelgava is a Latvian professional football club founded in 2004 in the city of Jelgava. The team plays its home matches at the Zemgale Olympic Center, which has a capacity of 1,560 spectators. The club has achieved notable successes, including winning the Latvian Cup four times in 2010, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Jelgava has participated in European competitions such as the UEFA Europa League, reaching the qualifying rounds on several occasions. In 2021, the club faced financial difficulties leading to the loss of its professional license, but it continued to compete at the amateur level.
