About the Team
Dundalk Football Club is a professional Irish club founded in 1903, based in the town of Dundalk. The team competes in the League of Ireland First Division and plays its home matches at Oriel Park. The club is one of the most successful in Ireland, having won 14 league titles and 12 FAI Cups as of 2024. In 2024, the club faced financial difficulties leading to relegation to the First Division, but it was acquired by barrister John Temple, who is working on rebuilding the team.
