Barcelona identifies De Jong's replacement
There are doubts about the continuation of Dutch star Frenkie de Jong with Barcelona, as he refuses to renew his contract with the Catalan club.
The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" said that Barcelona He will try to sell De Jong at the end of the season, if his contract is not renewed.
De Jong’s contract with the Catalan club expires in the summer of 2026, and the club does not want to lose him for free. He will try to benefit from it next summer.
The newspaper added that Thomas Partey, the Arsenal midfield star, will be De Jong’s replacement, especially since his contract with the Gunners expires in the summer.
