
The draw for the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup was held this Friday evening, which is scheduled to be held in Canada, Mexico and the United States of America.
The winner of each group will qualify directly for the World Cup, while the second-place team will advance to the playoff qualifiers alongside the top 4 teams in the European Nations League classification.
4 teams will qualify through the playoff, and thus the total number of European teams qualifying for the World Cup will be 16.
The qualifiers are scheduled to begin between March 2025 and November. 2025.
