Odegaard: There is still a long way to go, and this is frustrating

Arsenal star Martin Odegaard appeared in press statements, after the 1-1 draw against Fulham in the fifteenth round of the English Premier League.

The player said: “ We controlled most of the match. The first half wasn't great. We were a bit clumsy and lacked energy and strength. The second half was much better. It is disappointing not to win.”

He added: “They are a good team. They know how to defend. Solid block. We didn't do enough today. We have to learn from that and go straight back to the next match.”

And about competing for the title: “We have to focus on ourselves, and not care about other teams.”

Washed: “We did a lot of good things. We have to do more and put the ball in the penalty area more often. Maybe we'll be a little more direct and aggressive. We could have won the game in the end.”

He concluded: “It is a very long way to go. We have said hundreds of times that we must continue to advance game after game.”
