Coventry City FC, active in the English Premier League, announced its contract with coach Frank Lampard.

The club said: “Coventry City FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank Lampard as the team's new coach."

He added:" The 46-year-old coach signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Sky Blues club ".

He continued: "He will take charge of coaching the team for the first time this Saturday against Cardiff City at Coventry Building Society Arena."

He concluded: “Frank will be supported by two new assistants, Joe Edwards and Chris Jones, with whom he worked previously.”
