Will Messi move to the Saudi League soon?
Omar Mugharbel, CEO of the Saudi Professional League, commented on the possibility of Argentine star Lionel Messi joining the Saudi League soon
Messi's name was linked to joining Al Hilal Saudi Club in the summer of 2023, but the deal was not completed.
Mughrabel confirmed in statements to Four Four Two newspaper in response to the possibility of contracting with Messi in the coming period that accepting or rejecting any offer is up to the player and also the club.
He added: "The level of interest in coming to the Saudi League has become high, and there is interest on the part of many players to play in the Kingdom, so bringing in any player is possible."
He concluded: “We have a long-term vision to invest in football in Saudi Arabia for many years, and this concerns many of the game’s stars.”
