Abdelhamid Marrakchi, the former Algerian national team striker, has died at the age of 48.


Walid Sadi, President of the Algerian Football Federation, extended his condolences to the family of the deceased and to the great family of Algerian football.


Marrakchi participated in 5 matches for the Algerian national team and scored 5 goals.


The deceased was part of the team Who participated in the finals of the 2000 African Cup of Nations.
