Portuguese Ruben Neves, player of Al Hilal Saudi Club, was keen to send a message to Al-Zaeem’s fans, after the success of his knee surgery.

Neves underwent surgery on the patellar tendon of the knee today in Finland, where the Portuguese international will undergo a treatment and rehabilitation program until next January.

Neves wrote on his official Instagram account: “As you all know, I had knee surgery and things went well and I feel great.”

He added: “It was a chronic injury and it worsened significantly in the match against Al Ain, which prevented me from playing at the level I should be playing, and also caused me a lot of discomfort in my daily life.”

He continued: “Thank you to the medical department at Al Hilal Club for giving me the opportunity to receive treatment by one of the best doctors in the world, and thank you to Dr. Lasse Limpainen for the wonderful treatment I received.”

The Al Hilal star concluded his message: “And now I am fully focused on recovering and truly enjoying this time near family and friends.. Thank you.”
