Al-Shabab coach explains the reason for the defeat against Damac
The Portuguese Vitor Pereira, coach of the Saudi Al-Shabab Club, confirmed that the reason for his team’s defeat against the Damac team was the lack of the final touch and the absence of the team’s star, Abdul Al-Razzaq Hamdallah due to the injury.
The Damak team succeeded in winning 1-0 against Al-Shabab yesterday in the sixth round of the Saudi League.
Pereira said in the press conference: “We tried to play in our usual way, but we lacked the final touch, the final decision, and the exploitation of spaces, as well as the absence of Hamdallah, the spearhead, due to injury.”
He added: “We must continue and continue working and trying to develop ourselves, while recovering the injured. I hope that we will perform at a better level in the next match and return to the path of victories.”
