Arteta: We suffered more than we should have, and this is what we want
Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta appeared in press statements, after beating Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 in the Champions League.
The coach said: “Really happy.” “With the performance, we played against an opponent with a lot of personality, and it's really difficult to deal with them when you don't have the ball. The first half was very dominant for us and we created a lot of chances and then the second half was a different story.”

He added: “We suffered more than we should have. The Champions League imposes different demands, but I think we dealt with them really well.”
About Kai Havertz's performance: "He was unbelievable. His football mind, the way he understands space, his timing, his work ethic is unbelievable and now he's a real threat around the box. He's one of our key players at the moment."
Wadad: “Fixed kicks are another weapon we have. We have great implementers and at the moment a very strong team that can compete for the ball. We work on that a lot, so credit goes to the coaches and players who were convinced of that and understood.” These things change the course of the game.”
Regarding his team’s work rate: “The players do this and they do not feel that it is a bad thing, but rather they feel that it is their duty to the team. And they're starting to love it. It's all about how you feel when you do something, if you really feel like it then you're doing it well, if not then you're just cheating. These guys don't cheat, they run and come back every time. If you want to be a first-class team, it is better to have eleven players who are able to work.”
He concluded: “Do you play in more than one style? Sometimes you don't want to play a certain way, but if the opponent takes you there, you should be happy with that. We looked a lot at different scenarios in pre-season and how we deal with them and how we can work on our own game. We want to keep winning in any format, so we have to adapt.”
