Arteta: We are ready for what comes next, and I do not know how long Odegaard will be away
Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta appeared in a press conference, to talk about facing Manchester City on Sunday, in the fifth round of the English Premier League.
The coach said in his speech: “Odéjar\?We need to see the development in the next week or so, how the ankle reacts first and foremost and then the crew will give me an update on the time frame and how long he will be out.”
He added: “There are no new injuries immediately after the Atalanta match. We need to recover, sleep and eat well, and everyone is looking forward to the match. We know what that means, and we know what we are fighting for, and it is a great opportunity for the team to show what we are capable of.”
He continued: “We had been preparing for this since pre-season, we knew the schedule and we knew that it was very rare to play in such conditions with three huge away matches in Six days, but it was so we prepared for it, physically, mentally and tactically.”
He stressed: “We are making sure everyone is ready for it because we will need them, especially with the injuries.” Which we were exposed to during the international break.”
He noted: “I enjoy a lot of time in the office and on the training ground, but that is the way it is.”
