Zamalek is preparing to sue Bobendza

Zamalek Club began taking its first legal steps against Gabonese professional Aaron Popendza after his transfer to Romania's Rapid Bucharest.

Bobindza, the former Saudi Al-Shabaab player, arrived today in Romania in preparation for officially completing his transfer to Rapid Bucharest.

Zamalek officials were awaiting Bobendza’s arrival in Cairo to complete the procedures for his inclusion. But the player's destination turned towards Romania to represent Rapid Bucharest.

Amr Adham, a member of the Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, said in press statements today that the club will take legal measures to sue Popendza after he arrives in Romania to sign his transfer contract to Rapid.

Adham confirmed that the Zamalek administration possesses all the legal papers that condemn Bubendza, and guarantees the club’s rights.
