Al-Mayouf's message after leaving Al-Ittihad Club
Abdullah Al-Mayouf, the former Saudi Al-Ittihad goalkeeper, sent his first message after officially joining Al-Shabab Club.
Al-Mayouf said on the “X” platform: “A new step and stage in my sports career after I signed my contract with Al-Shabab Club. I thank them for their trust and I strive to give everything I have to the youth entity.”
He continued: “I do not forget to extend my sincere thanks to the management and fans of Al-Ittihad Club for the period I spent with the club... and I wish them success.”
Al-Mayouf played 27 matches with Al-Ittihad Club, conceding 44 goals, while leaving with a clean sheet in only 6 matches.
