Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti appeared in a press conference, after beating Betis 2-0 in the fourth round of the Spanish League.

The coach said: “ We have Desire, enthusiasm and motivation to try to do better. It was a good match. We reach the break in good condition. Now we need to be more persistent.”

He added. :"We do not put pressure on Mbappe to score. What matters to us is the teamwork that was better than the previous match. Vinicius was not selfish and awarded the penalty kick to Mbappe."

He stressed. :"We defended well, and we accelerated the pace in the second half as usually happens. Has the problem been solved? We are not at our best levels, but we will arrive soon."

He added. :"Vinicius communicated well with Mbappe. They have a good relationship between them, as is the case with Rodrygo. Today is not the happiest day of the season, but we are happy and we have taken a step forward. This is what we want to do. We have to continue working."

He continued: “With three players in midfield, we are good defensively. Ceballos performed well today, as did Chouamini and Valverde.”

He noted: “Tshwamini is a great defensive player, and he is still young and will learn to play with the ball at the right times. On the defensive level, he is irreplaceable. He helps a lot in returning to defense, and he contributed to keeping the clean sheets.”

He concluded: “The international break? It's never good, they take players away from you, the only thing I ask is that you don't get injured, and that everyone comes back in good condition."
