
The Portuguese Joao Felipe “Jota”, the Jeddah Union player, rejected the offers made by the Al-Jeddawi club management, in order to leave the Tigers during the current summer transfer period.
It was notified The Al-Ittihad administration told Jota that they did not want him to continue with the team in the next season, and made him an offer to transfer to one of the Saudi clubs.
For his part, the Portuguese player rejected the idea of transfer. One of the Saudi clubs was required to sign a release and receive all his financial dues, in order to return again to Europe.
The Union administration is seeking to reach a solution with Jota, after he became outside the accounts of the team’s technical staff led by Laurent Blanc, who excluded him from participating with the Tigers in group training.
