De Gea talks about joining Fiorentina
Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea confirmed that the current Fiorentina project prompted him to return to playing football after a 12-month hiatus.
Fiorentina announced its contract with David de Gea on a free deal this summer.
De Gea said in statements highlighted by the journalist The famous Fabrizio Romano on the “X” platform: “Man United is an elite club, and my heart will always be there.”
He added: “I didn’t think Never in retirement...it was just difficult to find the motivation to write a new chapter, after 12 years in an elite club like Man United, and I finally felt that at Fiorentina.”
