Raphinha and Yamal outscore Atlético Madrid
Barcelona duo Raphinha and Lamine Yamal continue to impress with their scoring form this season, having netted 25 goals in LaLiga, surpassing the total goals scored by Atlético, the Catalan team's next competitor for the top of the table.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Raphinha has scored 15 goals in LaLiga, compared to 10 goals for Lamine Yamal, bringing their total to 25 out of 46 goals scored by FC Barcelona, which accounts for over 54% of the team's tally.
In all competitions, Raphinha has scored 19 goals, while Lamine Yamal has netted 13, bringing their total to 32 goals out of the 60 scored by FC Barcelona in 15 official matches this season.
In contrast, Atlético have scored 22 goals in LaLiga, placing them behind Real Madrid, who have 28 goals, and FC Barcelona, who lead with 46 goals. This means that the duo from the Catalan team has scored more goals than Atlético have in the competition.
The Spanish newspaper reported that Raphinha and Lamine Yamal have scored a combined 11 goals away from FC Barcelona, which is the same number that Atlético have achieved at their Metropolitano Stadium, ahead of the anticipated matchup between the two teams.
Neither player has failed to score except against Getafe, and both have previously found the net against Atlético in their past encounters.
