Bologna have begun to move to sign Italian goalkeeper Michel Di Gregorio, who is currently on loan at AFC Bournemouth from Juventus, in preparation for an attempt to bring him in during the upcoming winter transfer window.

According to Italian media reports, Bologna have begun studying the possibility of completing the transfer, as the coaching staff are not convinced by the performances of the team's goalkeepers Łukasz Skorupski and Massimo Bisegna, prompting the management to think about strengthening the goalkeeping position.

De Gregorio is experiencing a tough time at AFC Bournemouth, having participated in only one match since his loan to the English team, which was against Lincoln City in the EFL Cup. This situation could open the door for his return to Serie A in January.

Coach Rafaeli Palladino represents an important factor in Bologna's interest in the Italian goalkeeper, having previously worked with him at Monza. The completion of the deal remains linked to reaching an agreement between Bologna, Juventus, and AFC Bournemouth regarding the termination of the current loan and arranging a new transfer during the winter transfer window.
