Zamalek injury update and goalkeeping situation ahead of Rwanda clash

Khaled El Ghandour has revealed that El Mahdi Soliman is close to starting in goal for Zamalek SC against Rwanda's army team tomorrow, Friday, in the first leg of the CAF Champions League Round of 32.

Al-Ghandour added through his program "Stadium Al-Mihrab": "After the recent loss in the summit match, there were some voices calling for another goalkeeper to be in the goal for Zamalek SC instead of El Mahdi, but the coaching staff prefers to maintain his presence normally and that it is possible for any team to suffer a loss."

Al-Ghandour pointed out that the trio Amr Nasser, Mohamed Ibrahim, and Mohamed El Sayed missed the team's trip to Rwanda due to injury.

Amr Nasser has recovered from the tear he suffered, and the same goes for Mohamed Ibrahim, who will be ready to participate in the team's collective training after the match against Rwanda. However, their participation depends on the coaching staff.

Zamalek SC's Mohamed El Sayed will continue to be sidelined during the upcoming period due to an incomplete recovery from a foot fracture.
