The truth about appointing a foreign general coach at Zamalek SC
Ahmed Shobair has revealed the truth behind the rumors regarding Zamalek SC's approach to appoint a foreign assistant coach in the team's technical staff.
Shoubir confirmed in radio statements that the idea of appointing a foreign general coach in Zamalek's technical staff is under consideration.
Ibrahim Salah, the current general coach of Zamalek, has faced disciplinary issues. He had a suspension at G Club, and in the match he managed as head coach of Zamalek against Zed in the League Cup, he was sent off. He was also sent off in the match against Al Ahly FC.
He continued: "These matters are unnecessary, Captain Ibrahim, and what happened has made Zamalek SC officials think about appointing a foreign assistant coach instead of Ibrahim Salah."
He added: "The idea of appointing a foreign general coach alongside an Egyptian technical director seems strange, but in my personal opinion, this could be a precursor to a change in the head coach."
