Reason for Aqtay Abdallah's absence from Al Ahly FC's squad in Uganda

Sports critic Mahmoud Shawqi clarified Aqtay Abdallah's situation at Al Ahly FC amid his absence from participation, settling the speculation surrounding his potential departure during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Shawky explained via his Facebook account that Aqtay Abdallah is feeling discomfort due to his lack of participation with Al Ahly FC, but he has not requested to leave the team. He pointed out that the idea of loaning him out in January has not been discussed within the club yet.

The exclusion of the player from the Al Ahly FC squad heading to Uganda was a technical decision made by the Moroccan coach Al-Hussein Amouta.

Al Ahly FC will face Kitarra from Uganda next Saturday at the Huima City Stadium in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
