Latest developments in Achraf Bencharki's contract renewal with Al Ahly

Amir Hisham has revealed the latest developments regarding the contract renewal of Moroccan Achraf Bencharki, the star of Al Ahly, with the club in the upcoming period.

Hesham confirmed during his show 'Modern Sports' broadcast on Modern MTI channel that Al Ahly's management has a clear desire to keep Moroccan player Achraf Bencharki in the team. However, there have been no official moves from the club to start negotiations for renewing his contract during this period.

It was clarified that renewing the contract of the Moroccan winger may face some difficulties, given the financial terms that will dictate the course of negotiations between the parties. It was pointed out that Al Ahly's management wishes to retain the services of the player, who is considered one of the influential elements in the team's formation.

He added that Ben Cherki is a regular starter with Al Ahly and holds significant importance within the team, which strengthens the club's desire to keep him, especially given the coaching staff's need to maintain standout players during the upcoming phase.

The contract renewal process is directly linked to the agreement on financial terms, as the financial agreement represents the key point of contention between the two parties to ensure the formulation of conditions that meet the player's aspirations and align with the budget set by the club's management.

In this regard, the continuation of the Moroccan winger with the team remains a strong possibility, contingent on the success of upcoming negotiations to bridge viewpoints and sign a financial agreement and formulate contractual terms acceptable to both parties.
