Officially: Duration of Vinícius suspension revealed

Spain's disciplinary committee has suspended Brazilian Vinícius Júnior, star of Real Madrid, for 4 matches following his red card during the recent match against Villarreal in LaLiga.

The punishment came after Vinícius pulled Nathan Saliba's hair during the match that ended with Real Madrid winning by a goal to nil, before he received a red card following a video review.

According to Spanish newspaper "AS", the player received two penalties due to the incident, with two matches for his behavior towards the opponent and an additional two matches for his objections and actions following the red card.

As a result, the Brazilian star will be absent from Real Madrid's matches against Sevilla, FC Barcelona, Racing Santander, and Valencia, depriving the team of one of its key attacking players during this period.

The punishment represents a significant blow for Real Madrid, especially as Vinícius will miss the upcoming Clasico against FC Barcelona on October 25.

Real Madrid is expected to assess its position regarding the ban and the possibility of appealing it, in an attempt to reduce the suspension period and restore the player's services as soon as possible.
