Discontent within Real Madrid over Valencia match date

There is discontent within Real Madrid regarding the timing of their match against Valencia, which is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, as it comes just three days after their encounter with AEK Athens in Greece in the UEFA Champions League.

Mundo Deportivo reports that the club's management and dressing room do not understand LaLiga's decision, especially since the trip to Athens and back will reduce the available rest time for the players.

Real Madrid is opposing playing the match on Saturday, while the other teams participating in the UEFA Champions League during the same round are playing on Sunday.

In contrast, LaLiga believes it has adhered to the minimum 72-hour rest period, as there will be more than this duration between the start of the AEK Athens match, scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, and the clash against Valencia on Saturday.
