Olise insists on his condition for renewing his contract with Bayern Munich

Real Madrid are keeping an eye on Frenchman Michael Olise, the Bayern Munich star, amid his impressive performances and increasing interest from top European clubs, according to AS.

Bayern Munich are aware that the brilliance of Oles could make him a target for many top clubs in the coming years, so they have started to move to renew his contract, which runs until 2029, with the aim of ensuring his continued presence at the Allianz Arena for as long as possible.

According to the report, Bayern Munich are preparing to make a huge financial offer to convince Oulis to renew his contract, which includes raising his annual salary from around €14 million to over €25 million, making him the highest-paid player in the team, surpassing prominent names such as Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala.

Oles joined Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024 for around €53 million, a deal that has proven its worth considering the player's development and impact with the German team.

Bayern Munich officials hope to finalize the renewal process early to avoid other clubs entering negotiations, especially with the player's name linked to Real Madrid and several top European clubs.

Despite Bayern Munich's significant financial preparations, the negotiations face a crucial point of disagreement, which is Ousmane's and his agent's desire to include a release clause that would allow him to leave the club in the future for a specified amount.

The report clarified that Bayern Munich's management prefers to set a high value for the release clause, reaching €200 million, while the player wishes for a lower number, which would give him a greater opportunity to move to another club if he decides to change his destination in the future.

Oles is keen to maintain some flexibility regarding his future, even if he agrees to extend his stay in Munich.

Real Madrid's interest in Oulis comes as the Spanish club looks to bolster their attacking options with players capable of making a difference, especially since the French player possesses skill, speed, and the ability to create chances and score.

However, Real Madrid's interest does not mean there is an agreement on the deal or official progress in negotiations, as Bayern Munich is seeking to secure the player's future with a new contract that protects him from the temptations of rival clubs.
