Hincapié injury adds to Arsenal's woes despite Guimarães rescue against Leeds

Arsenal have suffered another blow with the injury of Ecuadorian defender Piero Hincapié, who sustained a physical problem during recovery training following their 2-1 victory over Leeds United on Saturday in the Premier League.

Hincapié was substituted in during the closing minutes of the match, before suffering an injury while running in extra time after the final whistle. He was carried off the pitch amid concerns about the nature of the injury, with no details disclosed yet.

Arsenal turned a goal deficit into a valuable victory, with Ricardo Calafiori equalising before Bruno Guimarães secured the win, continuing the Brazilian midfielder's crucial role in saving his team after previously contributing to a 2-0 victory over Sunderland last September.

Arsenal have secured their fifth win in the last six league matches, drawing level on points with leaders Manchester City. Meanwhile, Bruno Guimarães has regained his form after a modest performance in the defeat against Brighton, where they lost by three goals to nil, confirming his value in manager Mikel Arteta's lineup, who emphasized the need to maintain a high level in every match.
