Major changes expected at Paris Saint-Germain stadium
Paris Saint-Germain continues to plan for the future of its stadium, with the club eager to build a new ground while also considering staying at the Parc des Princes if a major redevelopment project goes ahead.
According to "Le Parisien", meetings are continuing between various parties, with expectations of a final decision being made in the next few weeks regarding the future of the club's stadium.
If Paris Saint-Germain decides to remain at the Parc des Princes, it will be necessary for the club to become the owner of the stadium, alongside carrying out a large-scale renovation. The project includes increasing the stadium's capacity from 48,000 to 70,000 spectators.
The plan also includes covering part of the ring road surrounding Paris, creating a large landscaped square around the stadium, as well as establishing a museum dedicated to Paris Saint-Germain, shops, a judo hall, and padel courts.
Meanwhile, the sites of Massy and Bois de Vincennes remain among the options available to Paris Saint-Germain for the construction of their new stadium.
