Conte: The coach must be the focus of the project and Enrique is a clear example

Antonio Conte has stated that the coach should be the focal point of the sports project within the club, emphasizing the need for complete alignment between the management's vision and the head coach's ideas in order to build a team capable of development and achieving success.

Conte said: "For me, the coach must be the focal point of the project. Luis Enrique achieved great things with Paris Saint-Germain, but the club's decision was also crucial; they supported the coach and gave him confidence, which they did not do in previous years."

He added: "When Enrique arrived, he told them: this is what I want to do, and they embraced his vision. The coach must be the one with the direction and vision, and he determines the path the project takes."

Conte concluded his remarks by saying: "There cannot be two different visions, one vision for the club and another vision for the coach. If the two visions agree, and both parties succeed in finding the right balance, then the team develops and progresses."
