Bayern Munich identifies list of 7-8 goalkeepers to replace Neuer
Bayern Munich are working on their plan for the goalkeeper position for next season, with strong indications that Manuel Neuer may announce his retirement from football. Jonas Oerbig is set to become the team's first-choice goalkeeper.
According to "Sky Sport Germany", Bayern Munich have drawn up a list of 7 to 8 goalkeepers as potential options for the backup goalkeeper position behind Orbig, confirming that Bayern have not entered into negotiations with any of the candidates so far.
Bayern Munich's desire is to sign a goalkeeper with experience, rather than a young or promising and costly talent. The club wants a goalkeeper who can accept his role as a backup, possessing the necessary experience and character to support Manuel Neuer.
Oliver Baumann, the Hoffenheim goalkeeper, is among the candidates, but he is not a new name for Bayern Munich, as he is highly regarded within the club due to his career, experience, and personality. Meanwhile, no negotiations have started with the candidates yet.
