Bayern Munich targets Leeds United defender Tarik Muharemović for 2027
Tarik Muharemović, Leeds United defender, has become a key target for Bayern Munich ahead of the summer of 2027, after catching the eye with his impressive performances in the Premier League since his move from US Sassuolo.
TEAMtalk has reported that Bayern Munich are increasingly interested in the Bosnian defender, and he tops the club's target list for 2027, with the possibility of testing Leeds United's stance through a move in January, although a departure during the mid-season is considered highly unlikely.
Tarik Muharemović joined Leeds United last July for a fee that could reach £34 million, signing a contract until June 2031. He has been a regular starter, scoring one goal and providing another assist, which has raised his value in the eyes of his club to over £60 million.
Bayern are not the only club interested in the player, as Inter continue to monitor him after attempting to sign him during the summer. However, sources confirm that Leeds United have no sporting or financial reason to let him go in the middle of the season and will not consider selling him easily, meaning that any serious negotiations will be closer to next summer and will require an exceptional offer.
Tarik Muharemović was wanted by other clubs before his move to Leeds United, including Newcastle, AFC Bournemouth, Sunderland, and Juventus, but the English club won the race for his services.
