Zaid Tahseen files official complaint against Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya what is the reason?
International defender Zaid Tahseen has sparked a new crisis at Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya after filing an official complaint against his former club to the Iraqi Football Association's Players and Coaches Affairs Committee, demanding the payment of his overdue financial entitlements.
Zaid Tahseen was not the only one to take action against the management of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, as young players Moussa Alaa and Mohammed Saleh also filed separate complaints against the blue club for the same reason related to the delay in the payment of salaries and contractual dues for several months.
Zaid Tahseen is one of the prominent names that represented Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya before embarking on a professional experience abroad by joining Pakhtakor, one of the largest clubs in Central Asia.
On the international stage, Tahseen is considered an indispensable pillar of the Iraq national team, and he was one of the standout defenders relied upon by Australian coach Graham Arnold during the Gulf Cup 27 in Saudi Arabia, where he delivered impressive performances despite the bitter elimination by draw.
Three complaints have reopened the file on the financial crisis affecting Iraqi Premier League clubs, particularly Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, which is struggling with accumulated debts and administrative issues that have directly impacted the team's stability and results this season.
According to the regulations, the Players Affairs Committee will officially contact Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya to grant them a 15-day period to settle player dues. If there is no response, penalties may be imposed, including banning the club from making any new signings in the upcoming winter transfer window and deducting points from their tally in the league.
