Mourinho ignites Real Madrid dressing room with strong message: everyone is against us

Thomas Gonzalez has revealed a new approach that José Mourinho is using in the Real Madrid dressing room, by exploiting external criticisms and turning them into an additional motivation for his players ahead of upcoming matches.

Gonzalez stated that Mourinho has been adept for years at turning external attacks into fuel within the dressing room, pointing out that the Portuguese coach had previously used the same approach during his time with Real Madrid.

He added that Mourinho would remind his players during that period that FC Barcelona represents Real Madrid's biggest rival, and that there is a mutual animosity between the two clubs. He even pointed out that FC Barcelona players are raised in their academy to reject everything related to the royal club.

The journalist noted that Mourinho is currently reusing the same idea, but in a different way, by exploiting the wave of criticism and disdain directed at Real Madrid to create a feeling among his players that they are facing everyone alone.

According to González, Mourinho sent a direct message to his players saying: "No one believes in Real Madrid, we are alone, they are attacking us fiercely, and we must move forward on our own and against everyone."

The journalist reported that Mourinho seeks through this message to transform the derision aimed at Real Madrid into additional motivation within the team, pushing his players to fight on the pitch and prove that the image critics paint of the team does not reflect its true capabilities.

The Portuguese coach appears to be relying once again on one of his well-known methods in managing the dressing room, by creating a sense of psychological challenge among his players and external criticisms, and transforming the feeling that the team lacks support into a greater desire to prove otherwise on the pitch.
