Ramy Bensebaini's dispute with Algeria coach denied as he remains in camp
Reports from Algeria have settled the debate surrounding Ramy Bensebaini's future with the Algeria national team, denying any disagreement between the Borussia Dortmund defender and national coach Ibrahim Hamdani, and confirming that the player will continue normally with the 'Greens'.
According to sources cited by winwin, the rumors circulating on social media and some websites regarding Ramy Bensebaini entering into a strong disagreement with Hamdani and leaving the national team camp are baseless.
Sources have confirmed that the Algerian defender remains in the camp and is participating normally in training, preparing for upcoming fixtures, notably the friendly match against Niger.
Ramy Bensebaini joined the national team camp in September alongside Anis Haj Moussa after both players received permission to delay their arrival for personal and family reasons. The defender then participated in the preparations normally.
Reports of alleged disputes have emerged amid several controversial incidents within the Algeria national team during the September camp, the most notable being the incident involving defender Rayan Aït-Nouri during the match against Zambia, which was followed by his departure from the camp.
The controversy surrounding Hamdani's comments about Riyad Mahrez coincided with Algeria's draw against Burundi, finishing 2-2 in the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations Qualification for 2027.
These developments come at the start of a new phase for the Algeria national team under the leadership of Madani, who took over the coaching responsibilities from Vladimir Petković, coinciding with changes in the squad following the international retirements of Riyad Mahrez and Aïssa Mandi.
Ramy Bensebaini was given the captain's armband during the match against Zambia, in the absence of Mahrez and Aïssa Mandi, the previous captains of Algeria.
Data available indicates that Ramy Bensebaini remains with the Algeria national team as normal, and he has not left the camp or had any confrontation with the coaching staff, contrary to what has been circulated in recent hours.
