Batikel concerned about Ethan Mbappé after injury with France U21

Mbappé has been called up for the first time to the France U21 national team during the current break, following his good start with Lille this season.

The injury comes just days after his appearance with Lille, having previously left the match against Nice due to calf pain.

France U21's coaching staff is awaiting medical test results to assess the nature and severity of the injury as the team prepares to continue its journey in the Euro Qualifiers 2027. Ethan Mbappé was part of the official lineup for France in the match against Estonia.
